Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership, Mentorship & Team Development:
Minimum Education Required: A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Experience Required: 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity. Financial services industry experience is highly preferred.
Licenses/Registration
This position requires the ability to work in a stationary position for several hours at a time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Some filing is required. The work environment is an air-conditioned, smoke-free, office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to Business Analysts, ensuring consistency in best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in business analysis, advising on complex projects and facilitating professional growth within the team.
- Promote a collaborative team culture, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development across the department.
- Identify and champion process improvements that streamline operations and enhance the advisor and client experience.
- Lead stakeholder engagement to gather, define, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop frameworks and methodologies for gathering and documenting requirements, ensuring a structured and effective approach.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover insights that drive business decisions and improve service delivery.
- Present findings to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights that influence customer-focused strategies.
- Utilize business intelligence tools to track performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement.
- Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and understood.
- Influence decision-making by articulating business needs, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical solutions.
- Oversee the development and execution of test cases and scripts, ensuring successful user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Guide the resolution of defects and gaps in requirements, ensuring deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Champion a quality-first mindset by ensuring robust testing processes are in place and continuously improved.
- Develop and deliver training materials to enhance end-user adoption and maximize the impact of business process changes.
- Maintain and oversee documentation, including business process workflows, requirement specifications, and user guides.
- Establish best practices for documentation to ensure consistency and usability across the organization.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated experience guiding and developing Business Analysts or cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into data-driven insights.
- Customer Focus: Passion for improving the advisor and client experience through process enhancements and technology solutions.
