What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Field Crew Member position at Benner & Associates, Inc.?
Land Surveying firm seeking field crew personnel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic surveying duties, which include: leveling, traversing, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction surveys. Experience is preferred, but not required.
JOB DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty:
- Operate survey instruments such as robotic total stations, data collectors, GPS, and other standard survey equipment to collect field data.
- Interpret construction plans, perform necessary calculations in the field, and perform construction layout.
- Ability to work in the outside elements of the field up to 100% of the time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Required to remain standing for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day and walk long distances.
- Set up, minor maintenance, and operation of all field survey equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
- Possess talent to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values.
- Maintain safe working environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
