Bennett Hardwoods is the premier producer of high-quality hardwood lumber from the dense forests of Wisconsin and the upper Midwest. We have 11 state of the art wood drying kilns with a capacity of 600,000 board feet, planing and straight line ripping facilities and four large air-drying buildings. Bennett Hardwoods has the ability to produce wood products from 4/4 to 16/4 from Northern and Appalachian hardwood species. We have truck and rail service to our facility and the ability to ship worldwide. We make it our business to sell the highest quality hardwood lumber and build long-lasting relationships with our customers. We sell Basswood, Oak, Aspen, Cherry, Ash, Maple and other species of lumber harvested from northern forests that produce very dense high-quality lumber.
Job duties will include:
- Setting up orders in our warehouse
- Loading trucks with bundles of lumber
- Learning to run our VisionTally computer system
- General labor
- Sorting and moving boards
- Safely and efficiently stacking lumber onto shop carts
- Banding and marking packs
- Using a saw to cut down marked boards
- Sweeping during downtime
- Potential to learn other areas as needed.
