Bennett Interiors is an award-winning design firm in business successfully for over 25 years plus, known for its luxurious and refined interior designs. The firm operates alongside its sister company, “Home Philosophie”, which features a chic 4,000 square foot boutique showroom and recognized as the Best Showroom in Naples.

Bennett Interiors is currently seeking a professional, passionate and experienced designer to collaborate closely with founder-principal designer Leilani Bennett.

The ideal candidate has expertise in all aspects of design, including architectural design, kitchen and bath reno, space planning, FF&E resourcing, and project management skills.

This family-owned company specializes in high-end residential and commercial projects, focusing on creating unique and timeless interiors.

The candidate must be a “relationship builder” with an established network of builders, tradesmen, and realtors in Southwest Florida . Must be willing to call on Business to Business (B2B) and residential clients. Our average projects range from $150,000 to $2,000,000. To start, we are offering a base salary of $65,000 and an uncapped commission structure to begin a lucative collaboration. Earning potential of $125,000-$200,000. We have proven systems to ensure seamless design processes with an interior design support team, with estimating, contracts, budget analysis, accounting, geometrical drawings and leads/marketing to supoort the right candidate in delivering our wide range of services.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Engagement: Schedule and conduct client appointments to understand their needs and preferences, effectively presenting design agreements and proposals with a professional and genuine attitude.

- Design Development with supporting team: Utilize CAD software to create accurate geometric drawings cabinet designs and project layouts. Proficiency in design files, Apple interface and knowledge a must, including iCloud organizational skills .

-Motivate and assist principle to direct support team: redlining blueprints, ID documents, specification sheets, PowerPoint, and moodboards.

- Project Management: Collaborate with the design team and production crew to ensure seamless project execution from concept to installation.

-Demonstrating keen attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a focus-oriented mindset.

- Networking and Sales: Continue to Build relationships with builders, realtors, and interior designers through networking to generate leads and close sales. Candidates must be driven to excellence, able to hit the ground running, and meet sales goals and quotas.

- Marketing: Participate in marketing strategies, and events to promote the firm and its services.

- Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel, and attend local events with the possibility of short notice. The company will provide out of town travel and stay accommodations.

- Ahead of Trend Awareness: Stay updated on design trends, vendors, quotas and technology to provide tailored solutions to clients.

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in kitchen and bath design or high-end interior design, with a proven sales track record.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency and knowledge in CAD software and Design-files (quotes, invoices and purchase orders) or experience with similar programs are a plus and helpful.

- Language Skills: Must be fluent in English. Spanish and other languages not required, however, beneficial.

- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and business management is preferred.

Compensation

The position starts between $55,000 to $65,000 based on experience,and required skill set, with earnings potential between $120,000 and $200,000 based on a competitive commission structure and collaboration structure.

Bennett Interiors fosters a fun, focused, fast paced and supportive work culture.

We are situated in the design district of Naples on US 41, just a few blocks from 5th Avenue and near the beach, providing an inspiring setting for interior design work.

Hours of Operation

- Monday through Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM

- Alternating Saturdays: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (two Saturdays a month)
