Job Summary:
As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients as well as maintaining and repairing pool equipment. Pool technicians are responsible for the day-to-day operation of swimming pools. They make sure that all equipment is functioning properly, check chemical levels, and keep an eye out for any signs of trouble. To ensure success as a pool technician, you should be able to work with hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
The Pool Technician is also responsible for maintaining and following all Bennington policy and procedures established in the Handbook.
Job Responsibilities:
Basic pump maintenance
Maintain proper chemical balances for the pool.
Cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of the pool.
Open and winterize swimming pools in accordance with company procedures.
Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.
Obtaining a lifeguard certification for emergency situations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic troubleshooting availability
Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and equipment repairs is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy equipment.
Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
Professional appearance.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have reliable transportation to the Bennigton office.
