Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of residential swimming pools, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and fully operational. Preference will be given to applicants with commercial pool experience, though it is not required. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, skimming, and vacuuming.
- Test and balance water chemistry (pH, chlorine, etc.) to meet safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate service logs and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pool technician, preferably in residential settings.
- Commercial pool maintenance experience is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certification (e.g., Certified Pool Operator - CPO) is preferred but not mandatory.
