The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the entire hiring process for hourly and salaried employees. From finding candidates to making sure they complete all necessary onboarding before their first day. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will attend job fairs, trainings, and other programs to keep up with latest in employee acquisition trends and help improve retention within Benshaw.
Job Responsibilities:
- Finding and sourcing candidates- researching job seekers, posting job listings (internally and externally), reaching out to potential candidates
- Screening candidates- reviewing applications, conducting initial phone screens, assessing candidates’ qualifications and experience to make sure they align with the job opening, and scheduling onsite interviews for hiring manager.
- Hiring candidates- communicating with hiring managers on interviews, negotiating salaries, and other terms of employment
- Engage third party recruiting firms as necessary for more strategic and specialized positions.
- Onboarding candidates- acting as a consultant to new hires and helping them get started
Other Duties:
- The talent acquisition specialist will be the in-house expert in the design and management of job descriptions, participate in job fairs, and monitor key HR metrics.
- Develop and source training materials and tools to advance the skills of the workforce
- Design and implement employee retention tools and programs
- Be the owner of the apprenticeship program.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting
- Time management skills and multitasking ability
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in JazzHR and/or ADP workforce now
