Position Summary:
The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans Associate Program is a ten-month program that exposes entry-level candidates to the business side of sports. These intern level positions work across both the NFL and NBA seasons, and work full-time hours in various departments within our organization.
This temporary position is based in the New Orleans, LA area, and will run from June 9, 2025 – April 17, 2026.
What you will be doing:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of Partnership Sales, including prospecting new business opportunities for media sales and corporate partnerships
Conduct outbound outreach to individuals and businesses to identify and qualify potential leads for corporate partnerships and media sales
Set meetings and schedule face-to-face appointments for senior sales executives, focusing on Saints and Pelicans partnerships & media opportunities
Contribute to departmental goals by achieving weekly and monthly outreach targets and consistently setting high-quality meetings
Support the creation of sales materials and assist in the development and execution of corporate partner media strategies
Engage in professional client-facing conversations and interactions, contributing to the overall client experience
Perform various administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the Corporate Partnership Department
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is preferred; sales, marketing, or customer service experience is a plus
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a proactive and professional demeanor
Ability to meet and exceed outreach targets and adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; familiarity with Saints and Pelicans brands is a plus
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Knowledge of NBA and NFL terminology, statistics, and operations
Exceptional work ethic, flexibility to adapt to change, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Must live in or be willing to relocate to New Orleans for 10 months
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by NFL and NBA schedules
