What You'll Do:
As an Installation Coordinator at Benson Signs, you will organize and facilitate installation projects by sourcing and assigning installers, tracking schedules, and collaborating closely with project managers. You will handle all necessary paperwork, ensure thorough documentation, maintain up-to-date records.
Your Impact:
In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of installation projects, addressing any delays or discrepancies, and supporting the projects manager to meet deadlines. Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of our installation operations, enhancing overall client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source new installers in areas lacking installation vendors.
- Support project manager by gathering necessary information for tracking and facilitating installations.
- Address delays or discrepancies to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain and categorize the installer network by capabilities, updating labels and ratings based on feedback.
- Monitor installation progress, ensure payments, and handle post-install documentation.
- Ensure installers have required paperwork and process payments promptly upon receiving invoices.
- Verify the scope of work and installation package with project managers and installers before jobs.
- Collect and save documentation such as photos, project manager signoffs, COIs (certificate of insurance), and NDAs (non-disclosure agreements).
Your Skills:
- Knowledge of relevant objects, actions, and events involved in installation projects.
- Ability to monitor and ensure the quality and efficiency of installation processes.
- Understanding of necessary documentation such as COIs, W-9s, and NDAs.
- Skilled in using Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint for various tasks.
- Strong in both verbal and written communication to effectively convey information.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related area.
Work Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or related field.
