GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The HSM Operations Coordinator supports the High School Ministry by providing operational expertise and execution. This position executes the vision of the High School Ministry through planning, resource procurement and allocation, and task management.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated ability to take projects from ideas to execution, to maintain the big picture and drive the details
- Ability to maintain the HSM Small Group environment within the Bent Tree vision, mission, and culture
- Ability to execute tasks weekly for HSM programming and special events (retreats, workshops, etc)
- Experience handling a large volume of tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Experience in coordinating, scheduling and equipping people and tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Advanced knowledge of correct grammar, word usage, spelling and punctuation
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with a diverse group of people in a variety of situations
DUTIES
- Assist with budget tracking for assigned tasks, projects, and events
- Help plan and lead organizational aspects of HSM operations by coordinating and scheduling resources including people, rooms, and tasks
- Execute logistics including space requirements, set up, supplies, resources, and communication needs
- Be point of contact for student volunteer teams. Identify, recruit, build, equip, and oversee student volunteer teams
- Oversee and manage HSM general communications including guest process, phone calls, emails, and follow up
- Attend and contribute to Family Ministry meetings as appropriate
- Partner with Student Team to maintain the vision and culture of HSM
- Able to work Sunday evenings, and retreat weekends

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have completed or are working towards the completion of undergraduate studies or previous experience in youth ministry
