We’re currently looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead our parts department and help us maintain the highest standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Summary:
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts department, including inventory management, staff supervision, customer service, and departmental profitability. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in automotive parts and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the parts department
- Supervise, train, and motivate parts staff to ensure top performance
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage ordering of parts
- Work closely with service and sales departments to support internal needs
- Ensure exceptional customer service to both retail and wholesale clients
- Monitor department metrics and develop strategies for growth and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager in an automotive dealership
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory systems (Tekion software experience a plus)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and meet sales goals
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- ASE Parts Certification or OEM-specific training
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
