JOB SUMMARY
This position conducts background investigations on individuals seeking employment with, or access to, the Sheriff's Office, or for other County positions that might require a more comprehensive background check.
Please Note:
- This is a temporary position, not to exceed 1040 hours in a fiscal year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of work experience conducting backgrounds/investigations with local, state, or federal law enforcement agencies. Work experience with law enforcement and/or reserve will also qualify.
Special Requirements
- Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
- Valid Oregon driver's license. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.
