As a Planner at Beowulf Electricity & Data you will play a critical role in coordinating and organizing project activities to ensure successful project execution. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage project plans, schedules, and resources, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Operations department and the O&M Technicians.
- Ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and thoroughly.
- Working with Engineering and Management, develops strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices, including Preventative maintenance tasks, to maintain Company assets and minimize downtime.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement efforts.
- Leads Plant Safety practices, including thorough and effective Lock Out/Tag Out.
- Works with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Additional responsibilities or projects as directed by management personnel.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software.
- Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
- Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee’s work will consist of administrative and field support, both in a business office setting and at a plant site. In order to properly perform the integral functions of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand or walk, stoop or kneel crouch and or crawl. The position could require the employee to climb stairs and ladders and maneuver in awkward positions. Frequently, the employee is required to sit. It is crucial to the outcome of job tasks that the employee is able to talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms extensively.
The employee in this classification will be required to frequently lift objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.
Vision requirements for this position include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
In the course of working at the plant site, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, and may work near moving mechanical parts and/or machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office but is loud at the plant site which requires hearing protection.
