The Summer 2025 temporary positions offer three orientation dates: April 29, May 19, and June 2. Please consider these dates when applying for a summer position.
This position assists the Inventory & Logistics Coordinator by receiving, stocking and issuing parts, materials and equipment; researching parts and vendors to obtain optimum pricing and service for the College; training students; coordinating and conducting campus deliveries; aiding the inventory and logistics coordinator with daily functions such as keeping and balancing records of inventory movement and on-hand adjustments.
Your Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinates compostable material such as cups, plates, cutlery for college functions/events.
- Assists with coordinating the daily operation of the storeroom including; receiving, storing, and issuing equipment and inventory control.
- Electronically determines inventory needs and assists with orders to maintain proper counts.
- Perform on campus delivery of items and performs retailer item pickups.
- Keeps the storeroom floor orderly and free of debris. Responsible for keeping the college van cleaned on the inside and outside.
- Responsible for daily floor walks and zoning & facing shelves.
- Assists with researching products and vendors to secure optimal pricing for parts and supplies.
What You'll Bring:
Education required to ensure success in this position:
- High School Diploma, preferred
- Experience in retail or warehouse setting, a plus.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Positive attitude; enthusiasm and flexibility
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word software
- Ability to schedule and coordinate deliveries in a timely manner
- Understanding of proper storage and handling of chemicals and EPA regulated material
- Valid Driver’s License, required
- Forklift operator’s license, a plus
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Indoor- office or warehouse;
- Outdoor- loading dock or delivering supplies on campus.
