Borusan Berg Pipe is the leading manufacturer of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with two U. S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator for our Mobile, AL location.

Primary Duties

  • Perform administrative functions including maintaining the phone directory for the Mobile facility, answering and directing incoming calls to the main office phoneline, processing and distributing incoming mail to the facility, and maintaining emergency contact records
  • Coordinate and assist the Corporate Administrator in providing comprehensive event planning activities for corporate-level local networking events, ceremonies and meetings.
  • Act as primary contact for landscaping, administrative cleaning service, and office supply vendors to facilitate tasks to ensure cleanliness of administrative common areas including breakrooms, conference rooms, and lobby areas.
  • Act as backup to Corporate Administrator including coordinating travel and accommodations as needed for executives, employees, visitors, and job candidates ensuring availability to address matters outside of normal business hours
  • Track and maintain records for company vehicles and employee driver documentation
  • Support administrative tasks such as ordering nameplates, business cards, gifts, office signage, and paying administrative vendors.
  • Coordinate administrative office repair needs with internal teams & external vendors
  • Manage confidential information with professionalism
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned


Knowledge Required

  • Proficient in computers, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Education & Work Experience

  • Three years of work experience in an administrative environment reflective of the skills, abilities and knowledge contained in this description.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Associates degree (Preferred)
  • Five years of work experience in an administrative environment reflective of the skills, abilities and knowledge contained in this description (Preferred)
