Job Title: Korean Healthcare Program Nurse Practitioner
Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time

Reports To: Medical Director
Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services, including urgent care, to a diverse patient population, with a focus on the Korean community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Provide preventive care, such as vaccinations and health screenings.
- Manage urgent care cases, including triage and initial treatment.
- Respond to patient inquiries and medication refill requests.
- Clinical Operations:
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in chart reviews and quality assurance activities.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Become proficient in the electronic medical record system and serve as a resource for other clinicians.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner.
- Licensure: Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of New Jersey.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a primary care setting.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred.
