POSITION TITLE: Program Coordinator (Full Time)

KCS/KCC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) multi-service organization dedicated to serving the Korean and greater community through social services, education, and cultural programs. Supported by government agencies, foundations, corporations, and individuals, KCS/KCC strives to provide impactful programs that meet the diverse needs of the community.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The NJ Education Department is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to assist with the various education programs offered at KCS/KCC in New Jersey. This individual will play a key role in coordinating program logistics, managing communication with students and parents, supporting instructors, and organizing events and workshops. The Program Coordinator will also handle administrative tasks, student recruitment, and program development, ensuring the smooth execution of KCS/KCC’s education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day activities for various education programs.
- Assist in strategizing and supporting student recruitment efforts.
- Communicate with students and parents regarding program updates, schedules, and enrollment.
- Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and seminars related to education programs.
- Provide administrative support, including answering inquiries, reaching out to clients, and coordinating with instructors.
- Ensure program records, attendance, and student progress reports are maintained accurately.
- Collaborate with the Senior Program Manager to improve program operations and outreach.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in education, program management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in program coordination, event planning, or youth programs.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Language Ability: Fluency in English and Korean is required.
- Location Requirement: Must be able to come to the Tenafly office in-person.
Compensation
$35,000 - $38,000
