Type: Full Time Internship
Minimum Experience: Pursuing a college degree in Business Admin, Construction Management, or a related field.
Role & Responsibilities
As the Capital Projects Operations Intern your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for completed capital improvement projects, specifically for roofs, boilers, and electrical panels across Berger communities.
- Assist the director in creating standardized SOW templates for common CAPEX projects and Renovations.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to gather project status updates and ensure accurate data entry into the tracker.
- Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of trackers, completed work, projections, and estimates.
- Assist in organizing and updating project records, including budgets, timelines, and work completion.
- Apply for permits required for ongoing capital improvement projects and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct site visits (if required) to verify project status and assist in quality control inspections.
- Prepare reports summarizing project progress, challenges, and key milestones.
- Support the Capital Improvements team in administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about the permitting process for construction projects.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
