Job Summary:
The Construction Project Accounting Admin is responsible for providing administrative and accounting support for construction projects. This role ensures accurate tracking of documentation, and compliance with company policies and project requirements. The administrator acts as a liaison between project teams, clients, and project accountants to maintain the smooth execution of processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties
- Organize and maintain project-related documents, including contracts, lien waivers, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure accurate data entry into accounting systems (e.g., ERP or project management software).
- Coordinate communication between project managers, subcontractors, and the accounting team.
Compliance & Auditing
- Verify compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- 2 years of experience in construction and an administrative role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction administrative duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction-specific documentation, such as AIA forms, certified payroll, and lien releases.
- Knowledge of a Construction Software ERP.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
