Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting vehicles that meet their needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough presentations of vehicle features, benefits, and pricing to potential buyers.
- Manage inventory control by keeping track of available vehicles and ensuring accurate display on the sales floor.
- Utilize effective upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume.
- Perform cold calling to generate leads and follow up with potential customers to maintain engagement.
- Negotiate terms of sale with customers while ensuring compliance with dealership policies.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and inventory levels.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries from customers or prospects.
- Collaborate with the dealership team to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales or a similar outside sales role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent math skills for calculating financing options and payment plans.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a positive customer relationship.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and inventory management is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
- A passion for automobiles and staying updated on industry trends is highly desirable.
