We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Estimator specializing in drywall construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or multi-family drywall estimating, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You’ll play a key role in the preconstruction process, contributing directly to the success of our projects and client relationships.

You’ll play a key role in the preconstruction process, contributing directly to the success of our projects and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for drywall, metal stud framing, insulation, and related scopes.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive take-offs and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients during the preconstruction phase.
- Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier pricing; build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Participate in bid reviews and value engineering discussions.
- Track historical cost data and maintain databases to inform future estimates.
- Ensure estimates align with project goals, timelines, and margins.
- Support transition from preconstruction to operations with clear and complete handoffs.
- Minimum [5–10] years of experience in drywall or specialty construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of drywall systems, assemblies, materials, and installation practices.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Procore, Microsoft Office, On Screen, and Adobe.
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 based on experience with potential bonus.
