Body Shop Technician - Paint Prep

Key Responsibilities
- Perform sanding, buffing, masking, and priming to prepare vehicles for refinishing.
- Support team members with disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow repair guidelines.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Pay: $17.00 per hour based on experience to start, with the goal of building efficiency and skill level to advance to flat rate pay.
Qualifications
- Automotive body repair experience and/or degree from accredited technical college is preferred
- Willing to learn at a high quality level, and possessing a passion for the job
- I-Car Training preferred
- Valid driver's license with a reputable record is required
- Previous experience in collision repair or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and follow repair orders and work with repair plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing excellent guest service.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
