We are committed to growing your career, so in this role you will:
- Learn the fundamentals of underwriting by assisting in the creation of initial deal sizing, conducting cash flow analysis, and drafting deal narratives.
- Support the review of third-party reports and contribute to marketing initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with the underwriting team to understand their needs and gain insights into the world of Commercial Finance.
- Assist in the research, writing, and proofing of underwriting materials, presentations, analyses, reports, and loan or property documents.
- Help maintain and utilize databases that track relevant real estate metrics.
- Communicate directly with mortgage bankers, borrowers, and clients to provide information and answer questions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the underwriting team.
- Current student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Desire to learn and advance in the Commercial Real Estate sector
- Initiative and drive to search for ways to contribute and grow
- Basic technology skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word
