IT Internal Auditor (Entry Level)
Berkheimer Business Services provides financial, accounting, compliance auditing, planning and analysis to our customers. We are seeking an IT Internal Auditor to work a hybrid role in our Pen Argyl, PA Office. They will perform internal audits to maintain and assist with the planning, development and conducting of IT audit engagements. Our team provides a high level of accuracy and integrity by identifying risks and process deficiencies of IT solutions and/or processes. WHAT WE DO:
The Company provides multiple services related to financial, accounting, compliance, auditing, planning and analysis for the Berkheimer family of companies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As an IT Internal Auditor, you'll play a critical role on the auditing team by:
• Assisting with the planning, development, and conducting of IT audit engagements.
• Assisting with external audit testing as instructed by audit management.
• Identifying risks and process deficiencies of IT solutions and or/processes.
• Maintaining up to date information on best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining independence and objectivity in all appraisals, reviews and audit activities.
• Maintaining confidentiality concerning all company and client accounting and payroll information in a professional and business-like manner.
As a hybrid employee, your schedule will include a mixture of work from home and in office scheduling after training. During your new hire training period, you will report to work each day (Mondays to Fridays). After training, you will transition to hybrid, working 3 days in office and 2 days from home. (You are welcome to work in office all week, if you prefer!)

PAY BENEFITS:
The compensation for this role is $20.00-$24.00 per hour competitive benefits package.

SCHEDULE TRAINING:
Training: Monday-Friday, 8-4 PM
(training period = up to 16 weeks)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Business Administration, Information Systems, or Computer Science
Minimum 0-3 year(s) related experience and/or training; or - Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Working knowledge of flowcharting tools, data analytic tools and MS Office
- Demonstrate good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to use logical thinking to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Gather and analyze information skillfully
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to work with limited supervision
