Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support
- Manage daily operations, including scheduling, calendar management, and file organization.
- Maintain a well-organized office environment by managing supplies and equipment.
- Project Coordination
- Support the development and implementation of projects, ensuring timely execution and goal achievement.
- Communication Liaison
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing timely responses and information.
- Data Management
- Maintain and update databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and easy data accessibility.
- Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with team members to identify improvement opportunities and foster a positive work environment.
- Event Planning
- Assist in the planning and execution of organizational events, meetings, and training sessions.
- MEBC Program Liaison
- Serving as the liaison for the Music Education in Berks County representative in planning festival performances and logistics. Position would work directly with local school district representatives and partners in coordinating band, chorus, and orchestra performances at the festivals.
- getJazzed Education Program
- Serve as the liaison and project manager for the getJazzed Education program, collaborating with the Music Educators of Berks County, arts partners, and community members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred college degree.
- Previous administrative or office support experience is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including [specific software, e.g., QuickBooks, CRM system].
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Previous experience with music programs is preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills
