What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist position at Berkshire East Ski Resort?
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic individual to join our Finance Team! You will be
supporting our CFO performing payroll and accounts payables of our multi-company
organization.
The Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and
timely financial data. This position processes accounts payable for Berkshire East Ski
Resort and Zoar Outdoor Adventure Resort/Berkshire Whitewater, payroll for Berkshire
East and cash verification for Berkshire East. This position interacts with Resort managers
which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
- Cash Handling: Verify cash receipts and make bank deposits
- Daily banking transactions: Review and enter in Quickbooks
- Accounts Payable: Process all mail and electronic invoices in Quickbooks, processing
recurring payments such as insurance and food and beverage expenses.
- Payroll: Review timesheets for missing punches, record payroll data including tips
- Order supplies as requested.
- Collaborates with the other department managers as needed.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to

- Education and Experience: Two years experience processing accounts payable and

- Experience with Quickbooks a plus with strong experience with Microsoft Excel and
