Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a unified quality strategy spanning application & AI software, PLC control, , mechanical systems, UI/UX, etc.
- Define and communicate key quality metrics and executive-level reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead, advocate for, and work with management to charter a program that delivers quality and continuous customer success across the organization.
- Champion robust SDLC processes, including requirement traceability, risk mitigation, and both HW and SW release readiness checkpoints.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Field Operations, and Global Support Services to build scalable, proactive quality practices.
- Ensure strong integration quality across internal software components and customer-facing interfaces (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems).
- Drive adoption of quality infrastructure - including test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and telemetry-based validation tools.
- Lead initiatives to improve system-level reliability, scalability, and quality assurance practices for high-volume deployments.
- Close the loop on real-world issues, reflecting these in our current and future quality processes and practices to increase fielded system success and reliability.
- Own and drive the high-quality and success of our systems across all BG solutions.
- Extensive engineering leadership experience within integrated hardware/software systems and platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software in fast-paced, multidisciplinary product environments.
- Experience managing or overseeing quality, test automation, and system integration validation in product-driven organizations.
- Familiarity with hardware/software integration, real-time system behavior, and cloud-based telemetry or observability tools.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills - able to align software, operations, and customer-facing teams around shared quality goals.
- Data-driven mindset with a keen ability to use metrics to guide continuous improvement and roadmap decisions.
- Experience scaling quality operations for globally deployed products with deep cloud/device integration.
- Background in robotics, warehouse automation, or industrial software is a strong plus.
