Job Summary
Perform various routine general maintenance duties throughout hospital areas following routine procedures and standard safety practices. Make minor plumbing and electrical repairs, perform miscellaneous light carpentry jobs as directed. Performs daily duties within specific working areas as directed.
Experience
- 2 years general building and equipment maintenance experience required.
- Education and Training
- 4 years Technical High School or Technical craft/trade school preferred.
License & Certification
- DRIVER - Driver's License
- CPR
Other Requirements
- Demonstrate ability to use computer for PM system and a basic knowledge to use Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to use communication devices, i.e., Smartphones, pagers, radios, telephones and computer devices and responds within an appropriate time period.
- Weekend work scheduled on a rotational basis in advance.
