Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities and supervision by the Engineering Supervisor, the Surface Finisher performs a variety of building maintenance tasks related to renovation and repair of administrative and patient care spaces. Assist with directing painters and other like trades in the accomplishment of project tasks.
Experience
- At least five (5) years experience as a painter/paperhanger in a commercial maintenance environment required.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
License & Certifications
- DRIVER - Driver's License.
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to use communication devices., i.e., radios, smartphones, and computer devices; able to respond by voice or electronic means within a specified time period.
- Able to communicate orally and in writing in English.
- Must have knowledge of basic shop math.
- Weekend work scheduled on a rotational basis in advance.
Schedule
- 7 am -3:30 pm
- Monday- Friday
- Rotating Holidays
- Rotating Weekends
