Job Summary
To perform Pulmonary Function studies under the direction of the Medical Director, Director of Respiratory Therapy and Respiratory Therapy Clinical Manager in an effective manner within budgetary constraints.
Experience
- Minimum of two years experience in the performance of Pulmonary Function Studies
- Supervisory and instructional experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Education
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy at a two year level.
- Documented education or training in a clinical environment for Pulmonary Function Testing.
License & Certifications
- MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license
- NBRC-RRT- National Board Respiratory Care RRT
- NBRC-RPFT- National Board Respiratory Care RPFT within 12 months of hire.
- CPR
Additional Requirements
- Highly effective interpersonal/communication skills both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of management principles and supervision.
- Ability to vary work shift on an occasional basis for coverage and educational purposes.
Schedule
- 24 hours/week
- Monday through Friday week
- 3 eight hour Day shifts
- Variable start hours between 0700 -0800. based on dept need.
