- Hospital experience in any capacity is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette

Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in busy office setting with exceptional customer service skills.
- Office Work experience preferred.
- Organizing workflow and exams so patients are taken in order of appointment and priority.
- Listening to results by phone intercom from radiologists that inform us of any next steps for patients waiting in the department.
- The Radiology Operations Facilitator will let the patient go after relaying the radiologists' next steps and answering any questions.
- Callbacks: Patients with a finding needing further imaging need to be scheduled to return. This can be a quick or more involved call due to the patient's anxiety about the situation.
- Groups of exams ready to be read need to be alphabetized and entered into the radiologists' worklist as ready to read. This is done frequently, throughout the day.
- Triage of phone calls to the tech area from offices regarding a patient exam or unique situation, a patient asking for information or CWS needing help to schedule an exam.
- Unanticipated patient tasks, such as informing patients in the waiting room we are running behind with a timeframe in which we will be with them. Transporting specimens to the lab, escorting patients and loved ones to the consult room to meet with the radiologist.
- The need to call for corrected orders happens frequently and is time-consuming. Communicating with the radiologist and letting the techs know the US is needed or not needed after the mammogram.
- Bringing specimens to the laboratory after biopsies.
