Job Summary
The RN telephone triage nurse works to assess patient needs and answer questions over the telephone. Through telephone assessment, the Registered Nurse recommends the patient to the appropriate level of care: primary care physician, urgent care, emergency care.
Experience
- Three year's experience in Emergency Nursing preferred.
- Three years Triage (phone or in person) RN experience preferred.
Education
- BSN preferred.
License & Certifications
- RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.
- CPR
Additional Requirements
- Electronic medical records experience and strong comfort level using computers.
- Experience using multiple phone line system preferred.
Schedule
MNA Union Position
- 8am-5pm
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
- Week 4: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
This position is primarily in Pittsfield but may float to Lenox and North Adams offices
