Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at Berkshire Springs, you will be the primary contact for our customers over the phone and by email. Your main responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries related to delivery services, billing issues, and product information. You will resolve issues, ensure timely service, and maintain customer satisfaction while collaborating closely with the Home & Office Delivery staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound phone calls regarding delivery schedules, billing inquiries, and account management.
- Delivery Assistance: Help customers with delivery scheduling, changes, and tracking their orders to ensure timely service.
- Billing Support: Address and resolve billing issues, including invoice discrepancies and payment processing questions.
- Account Management: Assist with customer account setup, updates, and modifications as necessary.
- Issue Resolution: Identify customer issues and provide effective solutions, ensuring a positive experience and customer retention.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of Berkshire Springs' products and services to provide accurate information and answer customer questions.
- Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions and issues in the CRM system for tracking and follow-up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Home & Office Delivery staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: Full-time position with a total of 40 hours per week.
- Shift Variations: Availability to work on varying shifts as needed to accommodate peak hours of operation.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center, delivery, or billing environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service and problem-solving. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers and customer relationship management (CRM) software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
