Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing inspection reports for system deficiencies, generating a proposal to remedy deficiencies and presenting them to customers for approval and repair.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with commercial and enterprise-level accounts
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, negotiating, and closing deals
- Develop tailored proposals for new sprinkler inspection agreements, system repairs and systems upgrades
- Maintain relationships with general contractors, facility managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with design, project management, and service teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay up-to-date on fire code regulations and emerging technologies in life safety systems
- 5 years experience in the fire protection industry
- Deep knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and relevant NFPA codes
- Proven experience selling to commercial and/or enterprise customers
- Strong network of industry contacts (preferred)
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex proposals
- Certifications such as NICET, AFSA or NFPA are preferred
