Job Summary
As a Business Development Director at Berlin Patten Ebling, you are the architect of our market presence, expertly marketing and elevating BPE Services in real estate. Your job is to cultivate and deepen connections with agents and brokers across your assigned territory, serving as the vital link between our firm and the vibrant real estate community.
In this role, you actively shape and enhance our services, programs, and activities. At Berlin Patten Ebling, your role is pivotal in blending traditional values with innovative strategies, ensuring that every partnership you forge and initiative you lead not only aligns with but also enhances our commitment to excellence and inclusivity in the dynamic world of real estate.
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree
Has training and experience in building relationships between clients and the company.
Demonstrated ability in or application of organizational / communication skills.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of presentation programs, e.g., PowerPoint
Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work autonomously, yet able to enlist the cooperation of many people in furthering services.
Responsibilities :
Maintain existing business while bringing in new business daily.
Public speaking and presenting on an ongoing basis.
Set goals as a team for the year, new agents, repeat agents, dollar volume and track.
Review and organize non-referral reports for the office - plan who will reach out and when.
Run ¼ reports for 2 agents plus for the previous year and compare to this year to date. This is an opportunity to reach out before we lose an agent.
Weekly brokerage visits
Stop in at open houses (if your area listing agent side).
Review and stay on budget. What is the ROI for events held?
Strong communication and follow-up skills, both verbal and written.
Schedule coffee meetings, lunch meetings, and Happy hour meetings with BPE attorneys, agents, and brokers.
We schedule and organize BPE training at various locations, including brokerage offices, in-house training facilities, board offices, and more.
Create and customize training packets for each of the events and training planned.
Creating and implementing new marketing campaigns within the territory and as a team.
Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
Attend, plan, and participate in events, including BPE-hosted events, Local events, and Community events to network. Some of these are after hours and on weekends. This may include event planning, food and drink areas, bartenders, decorations, invitations, follow-up, and more.
Assist Marketing in planning the PHMP. This is a mandatory evening event held in January at BPE.
Meet and exceed quota and goals on an annual basis.
Administrative reporting and tracking in the CRM (Capsule), Qualia and Microsoft Office.
Worked on trade shows, events, and more by setting up and manning a booth.
Physical activity and lifting.
Follow BPE's Vision, Mission, and Values, representing the company well.
Work towards professional growth and improvement.
Other job duties as assigned, including BDC job functions.
