About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estate Planning Paralegal to join our growing firm in Tampa, Florida. You will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with preparing and managing estate planning documents, probate matters, and related legal tasks. Responsibilities:
Document Preparation: Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
Probate Assistance: This includes assisting with the probate process, including filing court documents, coordinating with beneficiaries, and managing estate assets.
Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and other parties involved in estate planning matters.
Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research and analyze relevant laws and regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of client files and estate planning documents.
General Support: Provide general administrative and clerical support to the legal team.
Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of estate planning principles and probate procedures.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software.
Experience with real estate transactions and closings is a plus.
