Work Schedule: M - F 9am - 6pm, Full Time, On site

Reporting Relationship: Risk and Regulatory Compliance Manager

Primary Accountability

Responsible for uploading new accounts into the System of Record ("System"). Research and review accounts for

Recommendation of Suit ("ROS") to our clients. Act as liaison between Berlin Wheeler ("Agency" or "Company")

and clients regarding placement files as well as Agency liaison between the client and our attorney.

Major Duties

  • Process placement files using System tools.
  • Use pre-written programs to process data only ("Electronic") files.
  • Work with IT through Service Desk ("Ticket") for creation or modification of Electronic file loaders when necessary.
  • Use the appropriate Excel template for converting original invoice ("Manual") placement files into Electronic file.
  • Place files in a timely manner
    • Electronic files received by 1:00 pm processed same day.
    • Manual files received by 1:00 pm processed within 3 business days.
    • All files received after 1:00 pm considered received next day.
  • Review accounts for clients that pursue litigation and make recommendation to pursue litigation for collection of outstanding debt when unable to resolve the account through standard collection efforts or for refusal to work with the Agency.
  • Maintain records of activity and follow-up on activity to ensure processes flow smoothly.
  • Follow-up with clients regarding outstanding approvals on recommendations.
  • Maintain professional communication through all communication channels with all internal and external contacts.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure all accounts worked, or entered, are compliant with all State and Federal Regulations in accordance with Agency professional standards.
  • Ensure that work environment is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Attend, and provide updates, at monthly department meetings.
  • Other tasks, assignments, or special projects as assigned by members of Management/Senior Leadership.
  • Other tasks, assignments, or special projects as requested by members of Supervisory Staff.
Qualifications

  • High School or GED equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of Call Center practices and procedures with one year experience, preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without continuous supervision in a fast paced and highly

confidential environment.

  • Ability to adapt to change in an evolving work environment and industry.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to present reports and answer questions from other Company or Client staff.
  • Ability to follow Company policy and participate in policy review.
  • Demonstrates ability to work well with employees and management.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Ability to use a computer or laptop and their various software packages including, but not limited to,

Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Demands

  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Read computer screens, mail, and email.
  • Talk on the phone or Teams.
  • Unpack and move supplies weighing up to thirty (30) pounds.

Work Environment

  • Professional and confidential office setting with a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Interaction with staff and clients.
