Job Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
- Review and verify invoices, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process electronic payments and check runs.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks and reporting.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payments and invoice inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred).
- 1 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (CDK, QuickBooks, or similar preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
