Installation Manager

Summary:

The Solar Installation Manager is responsible for the overall management of solar photovoltaic (PV) installation projects. This includes coordinating resources, managing teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of solar systems, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Plan and schedule installation projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues or delays.
• Manage project budgets and control costs.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, inspections, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality installations and professional service.
• Provide post-installation support and training to customers.
• Logistics and Procurement:
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
• Manage inventory and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Work with procurement teams to ensure materials are ordered correctly and arrive on time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., construction management, electrical engineering).
• Proven experience in managing solar PV installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
