** This is a remote role, candidate must live in the NYC tri-state area. There will be travel to client locations around the NYC tri-state area. **

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with significant experience in complex litigation.
- In-depth knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology.
- Experience with PACER, ECF, NYSCEF and court filing systems.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation support software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, CaseMap).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management:
- Assist attorneys in managing all aspects of litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal.
- Organize and maintain case files, including pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence.
- Track case deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents.
- Experience with state and federal court filings.
- Litigation docket management and calendaring abilities for deadline management.
Document Preparation and Review:
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and trial preparation materials.
- Conduct thorough document review for relevance, privilege, and confidentiality.
Discovery and Evidence Management:
- Assist in the preparation and management of discovery requests and responses.
- Organize and maintain discovery databases and evidence files.
- Coordinate and manage the collection, review, and production of electronic and hard-copy documents.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct legal research using various resources, including Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal databases.
- Summarize case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and memoranda on research findings.
Trial Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation of trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists.
- Coordinate logistics for depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Attend trials and hearings to provide on-site support to attorneys.
Client Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and providing updates on case progress.
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings, depositions, and interviews.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
- Assist in the management of litigation budgets and billing.
- Assist with filings in state and federal court.
