ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports administrative functions to ensure efficiency, customer service, and accountability- Perform receptionist duties
- Answers, responds, and directs incoming telephone calls
- Provides information by answering questions and requests
- Maintains office files, supplies, record keeping, filing and documentation
- Coordinates customer support (e.g., Service Requests, Work Orders, and follow-up)
- Processes job contracts
- Prepares correspondence and proofreads documents
- Manage emails
- Maintains accounts receivables records
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
- Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
- Take actions to encourage timely debt payments
- Process customer payments.
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
- Works with company software, Microsoft Office suite, and standard office equipment; and
- Provides excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to clients, vendors, and company staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
SKILLS
- Proven experience in A/R & Collection
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
- Familiarity with laws related to debt collection
- Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Comfortable working with targets
