Job Description

What you will do:

• Adheres to, enforces and effectively communicates Board policy/procedures/guidelines, administrative directives, Master Agreements and district standards
• Assist with supervision of staff including assignments, evaluations, individual development plans, mentors, etc
• Adheres to and enforces Board Policy, school guidelines, administrative directives, Master Agreements, Personnel Handbook, etc
• Coordinate state testing for Autism & EI programs 
• Work with Autism & EI Social Worker on student truancy issues
• Monitor count and quarterly FTE reviews
• Assumes responsibility for program in absence of Supervisors
• Assist District in complying with rules, regulations and State/Federal reporting requirements
• Work cooperatively with RESA administrative and special education staff
• Responsible for management of student IEP and REED meetings for both Autism and EI programs
• Assist with screening and interviewing of potential staff members
• Assist with program development and service delivery to students
• Assists with instructional leadership on curriculum development and uses data to inform instructional accountability for student achievement
• Assist with staff professional development and in-service activities and PLC groups
• Monitor Medicaid billing procedures done by staff
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Autism Programs and Principal of Lighthouse Education Center.

Need to Have:

• Master’s Degree required
• Approval as a Supervisor of Special Education or eligible for approval
• Experience in working with students with Autism and Emotional Impairments preferred
