Berry Creek Country Club is looking for an experienced Office Administrator
The Office Administrator will perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for accounting data, including accounts payable, billing, and receivables.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records, including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
- Reviewing, scanning and coding of accounts payable invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alert supervisory staff of discrepancies.
- Monthly billing of member statements and review for accuracy
- Reconciles member accounts and manages accounts receivable collections
- Process daily payments for accounts receivable.
- Reconcile cash, payments and credit cards to bank daily.
- Distributes accounting reports as directed.
- Review of weekly payroll timecards and labor distribution
- Process by weekly other monies into payroll system
- Perform HR onboarding/offboarding
- May assist with mail distribution, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems.
- A complete understanding of accounting accruals.
- Intermediate Excel Skills.
- Highly proficient with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
- At least three years of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
