Responsibilities
- Maintains building utility equipment such as air compressors, water chillers, and air conditioners at optimum efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed, investigate on going issues and solve utilizing all resources such as manuals, vendor service groups, etc.
- Perform repairs to equipment in a quality manner quickly and efficiently, ensuring work has been completed properly and equipment is in good working order.
- Miscellaneous building maintenance duties to include but not limited to custodial, painting and back up to other maintenance personnel.
- Utilize preventative maintenance schedule from Maintenance Management program to schedule and perform machinery repairs.
- Submits requisitions for purchase orders for repair parts and materials required in his / her area of responsibility.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Preferred candidate will have experience in a hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance environment with related experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
