Labor Retention
- Promote retention through company cultural worker's programs - Worker’s Come First.
- Assists in administering the company's District Climate Survey Action Plan to enhance employee engagement as measured by the employee satisfaction and engagement survey.
- Support company business / growth plans related to the advancement of employee retention and engagement accomplished through the promotion of, and in the establishment of a fulfilling work environments.
Information Reporting
- Data collection, report generation - such as employee demographics, new hire, turnover, retention, absenteeism, active no hours.
- Effectively manage and resolve employee issues and investigations to the point of resolution following company practices / policies and legal requirements; based on complexity assessing risk exposure.
- Assist managers and field employees with the Reasonable Suspicion Program.
- Internal investigations case management documentation and reporting.
- Ensure field operations are in compliance with applicable labor laws and posting.
- Assist with Partner annual employee handbook revisions for field and admin handbooks.
- Audit for rest & meal breaks and 7th workday compliance and provide necessary training.
- Coordinate compliance updates.
- Help support the Benefits Specialist with LOAs when needed.
- Analyze and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures related to human resources services.
- Assist / coordinate Years of Service program for field employees.
- Assists with planning and coordinating district company events.
- Provide safety training (new hire and on-going) and guidance to field personnel on all safety-related issues.
- Conduct daily ranch and crew safety inspections; report and address unsafe actions; and if necessary, escalate and communicate findings to appropriate leadership.
- Prepare timely reports, as required, of inspections and results.
- Conduct accident/injury investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action. Prepare reports on inspections and results.
- Monitor the enforcement of safety policies and procedures.
- Provide information to HRDBP to Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Production, Workers’ Compensation, Fleet, etc.) in efficient delivery of training, and identification of issues.
- Notify HRDBP Manager of recognized hazards and possible risk mitigation.
- Ensure proper completion and documentation of Incident and accident investigations.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments, including but not limited to:
- Support training for field employees on New Policies, Procedures, Harassment Prevention training sessions for Newly hire and promoted supervisors and field managers. CL/Punchers established safety training (i.e., Illness and Injury Prevention Program “IIPP”, Job Safety Analysis “JSA”, etc.).
- Identify and coordinate the training needed for crew leaders and overhead teams to ensure they are up to date with company policies and procedures.
- Recommend and implement decided corrective actions and follow-up to verify completion.
- Maintains training material database for all risk departments
- Be an active participant of meeting and safety initiatives
- Review and discuss preventative measures with the HRDBPHRBP and Safety Manager and communicate the approved information to the parties involved.
- Follow and implement recommended Provide technical information on EHS issues on new equipment, projects, method of performing work, and hazard/risk assessments.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or combined experience and education

- Business Administration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources preferred / related field
- Professional certification strongly preferred: HRCI / PHR. PHR-CA, SHRM: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
- Experience in diverse cultural orientation; responsible for employee relations issues.
- Valid California Driver’s license and ability to be insured under the company insurance.
