BERT OGDEN FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Job Summary
Our company needs a Facility Maintenance Manager to keep our building and grounds in top shape at all times. We prefer candidates with an associate's degree in a relevant field, but we are happy to work with those with several years of facility management experience. You need to be familiar with various facility systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, PLC, electricity, and landscaping. You also need experience using a wide variety of power tools, hand tools, carpet steaming equipment, and ground maintenance equipment. You are primarily responsible for preventative maintenance, but you may have to make large repairs as well. You may have to work with chemicals at times, so you should be always familiar with safety best practices and responsible handling.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect the facility for issues
- Inspect the electrical issues
- Make sure the plumbing stays maintained
- Make sure the facilities landscaping stays maintained
- Maintain the facilities budget
- Help us develop more effective maintenance procedures
- Contact third-party vendors for large repairs
- Any other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor
