Industrial Equipment Technician
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with team members to achieve common goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily maintenance, installations, and repairs in assigned areas of the floor.
- Respond to system malfunctions involving conveyors, MHE, sortation, and controls (ARMADA, hardware, software, etc.).
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades and modifications to building assets.
- Analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system component issues affecting conveyor systems and building components, including:
- PLCs
- High-speed sortation systems
- Cobots
- Material handling equipment
- PANDA
- VFDs
- Robotic systems
- Scanners
- Power distribution
- Communication systems
- Work closely with team members to schedule and execute preventative maintenance tasks.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Support the Facilities Manager in implementing day-to-day maintenance and upkeep strategies for facilities.
- Conduct thorough preventive maintenance routines.
- Replace or repair equipment in accordance with operation manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors for part procurement and technical assistance.
- Upgrade and maintain building systems as needed, including electrical, WiFi/IDF, plumbing, sprinkler systems, HVAC, and alarm systems.
- Foster collaboration between manufacturing, vendors, and operations teams to address concerns, propose solutions, or implement changes.
