Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
At Penguin Random House, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a combination of duties including constructing, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining plant equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct, install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities.
Read schematics and perform electrical construction work.
Perform mechanical trades, forklift/conveyor repair, and other related tasks.
Work with Siemens or Allen Bradley Programmable Controllers or other relative PLCs.
Carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and welding experience is desirable.
Requirements:
Three or more years of relevant experience in facility maintenance.
Basic PC skills and physical capability to perform heavy lifting required.
Availability to work overtime essential.
Working Hours:
Shift hours: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
Additional 15% shift differential paid to boost earnings.
