- Collect blood and other biological specimens from patients for testing and analysis.
- Evaluate patient information to determine the best collection method.
- Prepare and transport specimens to the laboratory for processing.
Requirements:
- Certified phlebotomy technician (CPT) through National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months of phlebotomy work experience preferred.
