Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations for concrete, wood and steel structures for commercial and residential projects.
- Review and validate engineering designs, calculations, reports and project documents for technical accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact and engage with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring projects meet client needs and regulatory standards.
- Work with other engineers and draftsmen and collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure timely delivery and project success.
- Assist in business development initiatives, including project bidding, proposal preparation, and client meetings.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, ensuring Beryl remains at the forefront of engineering best practices.
- Drive innovation and process improvement and support the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- EIT is preferred.
- 2 Years of AutoCAD experience.
- Working knowledge in structural design software (RISA 3D, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of engineering software tools.
- Strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with peers and interact with clients.
- Familiarity with relevant commercial and residential standards and codes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
